World oil price today
World oil prices today suddenly reversed and increased after consecutive price decreases. At the end of yesterday's trading session (September 30), WTI and Brent oil prices decreased by 2.82% and 1.03%, respectively.
By this morning's session, both oil products had increased simultaneously. At 12:34, WTI crude oil prices were at 62.19 USD/barrel, up 0.41 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.66%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 61.78 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 61.77 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 75.79 USD/barrel, up 0.44 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.67%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 75.35 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 65.42 USD/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On October 2, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on September 25.
Accordingly, gasoline prices have decreased simultaneously. E5RON92 gasoline price decreased by 368 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline decreased by 443 VND/liter, diesel decreased by 47 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 84 VND/liter and mazut increased by 79 VND/kg.

Hoang Trong General Trading Company Limited: Hai Linh warehouse, Hai Phong: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,250 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,250 VND/liter; Bac Ninh warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,100 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,100; Nghi Son warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,350 VND/liter, RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,300 VND/liter.
Tu Luc Petroleum: Discount on Diesel 0.05S-II: 1,250 VND/liter; Diesel 0.001S-V: 1,050; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,150 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,150 VND/liter.
MIPEC Petroleum: RON 95 - III Petroleum Discount: 1,100 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S-II: 1,000 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S: 1,200. Applicable to the Northern region.
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may increase simultaneously.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to increase by about 50 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 30 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 370 VND/liter.
