World oil price today
At the end of a trading week, WTI crude oil was at 61.50 USD/barrel last weekend, down to 60.98 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, WTI oil decreased by 0.52 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.8% compared to last week.
Brent oil was at 75.94 USD/barrel last weekend, down to 64.77 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, Brent oil decreased by 1.17 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.8% compared to last week.
In October, Brent and WTI oil prices both decreased, down 2.6% and 2%, respectively, due to sharp increases in output by OPEC and non-BSP producers. Analysts say this additional supply also helps to reduce the impact of Western sanctions disrupting Russian oil exports to major markets such as China and India.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On November 2, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on October 23.
Accordingly, gasoline prices have increased simultaneously. E5RON92 gasoline price increased by VND 710/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by VND 762/liter, diesel increased by VND 1,318/liter, kerosene increased by VND 1,156/liter and mazut increased by VND 541/kg.

MIPEC Petroleum: RON 95 - III Petroleum Discount: 1,100 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S-II: 1,000 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S: 1,550 VND/liter. Applicable to the Northern region.
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may decrease.
