World oil price today
World oil prices are on the rise. At the end of the first trading session of the week, WTI oil and Brent oil increased by 1.32% and 1.27%, respectively.
By this morning's session, both oil products continued to increase sharply. At 12:05 (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil price was at 69.41 USD/barrel, up 0.9 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.15%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 69.32 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 59.55 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 63.21 USD/barrel, up 0.04 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.06%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 63.17 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 63.30 USD/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On December 2, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on November 27.
Accordingly, gasoline prices have decreased simultaneously. E5RON92 gasoline price decreased by VND 519/liter, RON95-III gasoline decreased by VND 533/liter, diesel decreased by VND 1,026/liter, kerosene decreased by VND 815/liter and mazut decreased by VND 251/kg.

The discount levels of gasoline products today, December 02 at some domestic gasoline trading enterprises are as follows:
- Hoang Trong General Trading Company Limited:
+ Hai Linh warehouse, Hai Phong: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,200 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 800 VND/liter.
+ Bac Ninh warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,050 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 650 VND/liter.
+ Nghi Son warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,200 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 800 VND/liter.
- Tu Luc Petroleum Joint Stock Company 1:
+ Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,200 VND/liter;
+ Diesel 0.001S-V: 1,100 VND/liter;
+ RON 95 - III gasoline: 800 VND/liter;
+ E5 gasoline: 800 VND/liter.
- MIPEC Petro Petroleum Trading Company Limited (applicable to the Northern region):
+ RON 95 - III gasoline: 850 VND/liter.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price management period, retail prices of gasoline may have a negative adjustment in the direction of increasing gasoline prices and decreasing oil prices.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to increase by about 520 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 500 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 320 VND/liter.
