World oil price today
At the end of a trading week, WTI crude oil was at 67.18 USD/barrel last weekend, increasing to 68.28 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, WTI crude oil increased by 1.1 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 1.6% compared to last week.
Brent oil was at 70.58 USD/barrel last weekend, increasing to 72.16 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, Brent oil increased by 1.58 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 2.2% compared to last week.
According to analysts, oil prices increased last week thanks to the impact of new US sanctions on Iran and the latest output plan of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies (OPEC +) raising concerns about tighter supply in the coming time.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On March 23, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities are applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade in the price management session on the afternoon of March 21, 2025. Accordingly, gasoline prices have increased simultaneously.
E5 RON 92 gasoline price increased by VND 414/liter, RON 95-III gasoline increased by VND 438/liter, kerosene increased by VND 28/liter, diesel decreased by VND 5/liter, mazut decreased by VND 40/kg.

The discount levels of gasoline products today, March 23, at some domestic gasoline trading enterprises are as follows:
Hoang Trong General Trading Company Limited: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,200 VND/liter, applied at Hai Linh warehouse, Hai Phong; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,150 VND/liter, applied at Hai Linh warehouse, Hai Phong warehouse K99; Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,050 VND/liter, applied at Bac Ninh warehouse; E5 gasoline: 1,000 VND/liter at Dinh Vu warehouse, Petec.
Tu Luc Petroleum: Diesel discount 0.05S-II: 1,250 VND/liter; Diesel 0.001S-V: 1,000; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,200; E5 gasoline: 1,100 VND/liter.
MIPEC Petroleum: RON 95 - III Petroleum Discount: VND 1,000/liter; E5 Petroleum: VND 900/liter; Diesel 0.05S-II: VND 1,250/liter. Applicable to the Northern region.
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, gasoline prices may increase slightly.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to increase by about 60 VND/liter; E5 gasoline increases by about 60 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 160 VND/liter.
