World oil price today
World oil prices are on the decline today. At the end of yesterday's trading session (September 22), WTI and Brent oil prices decreased by 0.1% and 0.2%, respectively.
By this morning's session, both oil products continued to decline sharply. At 11:33, WTI crude oil prices were at 61.98 USD/barrel, down 0.30 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.48%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 62.28 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 62.34 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 66.24 USD/barrel, down 0.33 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.51%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 66.57 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 66.58 USD/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On September 23, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on September 18.
Accordingly, gasoline prices increased by more than 200 VND/liter; oil prices increased by 40-176 VND/liter. Specifically, E5RON92 gasoline price increased by VND208/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by VND208/liter, diesel increased by VND62/liter, kerosene increased by VND176/liter and mazut increased by VND40/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may decrease.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 400-500 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 350-420 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 0-100 VND/liter.
