World oil price today
World oil prices today turned down after a strong increase. At the end of yesterday's trading session (September 24), WTI and Brent oil prices increased by 2.5% and 2.48%, respectively.
By this morning's session, both oil products had decreased simultaneously. At 12:04, WTI crude oil prices were at 64.69 USD/barrel, down 0.30 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.46%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 84.99 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 64.75 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 69.02 USD/barrel, down 0.29 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.42%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 69.31 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 69.15 USD/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On September 25, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on September 18.
Accordingly, gasoline prices increased by more than 200 VND/liter; oil prices increased by 40-176 VND/liter. Specifically, E5RON92 gasoline price increased by VND208/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by VND208/liter, diesel increased by VND62/liter, kerosene increased by VND176/liter and mazut increased by VND40/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the price adjustment period this afternoon, retail prices of gasoline may decrease.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 430 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 360 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 40 VND/liter.
