World oil price today
World oil prices are showing signs of recovery after previous deep declines. At the end of yesterday's trading session (October 6), WTI and Brent oil prices increased by 1.33 USD/barrel and 1.46 USD/barrel, respectively.
By this morning's session, both oil products continued to increase. At 11:28 a.m., WTI crude oil price was at 61.87 USD/barrel, up 0.18 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.29%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 61.69 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 61.78 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 75.66 USD/barrel, up 0.19 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.29%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 75.47 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 65.51 USD/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On October 7, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on October 2.
Accordingly, gasoline prices have increased simultaneously. Gasoline price increased by 6 - 44 VND/liter; oil price increased by 161 - 380 VND/liter. Specifically, E5RON92 gasoline price increased by 6 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by 44 VND/liter, diesel increased by 380 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 377 VND/liter and mazut increased by 161 VND/kg.

Tu Luc Petroleum: Diesel discount 0.05S-II: 1,700 VND/liter; Diesel 0.001S-V: 1,550 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,500 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,500 VND/liter.
MIPEC Petroleum: RON 95 - III Petroleum Discount: 1,450 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S-II: 1,300 VND/liter; Diesel 0.05S: 1,800 VND/liter. Applicable to the Northern region.
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may decrease.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 550 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 540 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 450 VND/liter.
