World oil price today
At the end of a trading week, WTI crude oil was at 58.55 USD/barrel last weekend, increasing to 60.08 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, WTI oil increased by 1.53 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 2.6% compared to last week.
Brent oil was at 63.20 USD/barrel last weekend, increasing to 63.75 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, Brent oil increased by 0.55 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.9% compared to last week.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On December 7, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on December 4.
Accordingly, gasoline prices increased by 400-500 VND/liter; oil prices decreased by 52-580 VND/liter. Specifically, E5RON92 gasoline price increased by 534 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by 451 VND/liter, diesel decreased by 420 VND/liter, kerosene decreased by 580 VND/liter and mazut decreased by 52 VND/kg.

The discount levels of gasoline products today, December 7, at some domestic gasoline trading enterprises are as follows:
- Hoang Trong General Trading Company Limited:
+ Nam Vinh warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 900 VND/liter.
+ Hai Linh warehouse, Hai Phong: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,000 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,150 VND/liter.
+ Bac Ninh warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 850 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,000 VND/liter.
- Tu Luc Petroleum Joint Stock Company 1:
+ Diesel 0.05S - II: 950 VND/liter;
+ Diesel 0.001S-V: 750 VND/liter;
+ RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,100 VND/liter;
+ E5 gasoline: 1,100 VND/liter.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may decrease.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 350 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 150 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 180 VND/liter.
