On January 23, Binh Duong Customs Department announced that total budget revenue reached 18,305 billion VND, an increase of 12.64% over the same period.

According to Binh Duong Customs Department, in 2024, the world context has many problems that make it difficult to collect budget revenue. Therefore, from the beginning of the year, the Party Committee and leaders of the Customs Department have directed the implementation of many synchronous solutions to strengthen budget collection, prevent budget loss, and strive to complete the task.

As a result, in 2024, 7,457 enterprises participated in customs procedures, up 3.34% over the same period.

Binh Duong's total import-export turnover reached nearly 60 billion USD, an increase of 8.56% over the same period in 2023. Of which, export turnover reached 36.7 billion USD, import turnover reached nearly 23.3 billion USD.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Deputy Director of Binh Duong Provincial Customs Department said that in 2025, the unit will continue to strive to complete the budget revenue target assigned by the Ministry of Finance and the People's Council of Binh Duong province. Continue to organize meetings with businesses, facilitating import and export activities of businesses. Strive to collect a budget of 18,200 billion VND in 2025, completing the assigned tasks.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh also said that this Tet holiday, staff will be arranged to work throughout Tet to ensure that businesses can complete import and export procedures.

According to the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, in 2024, the total budget revenue of the whole province will be 76,200 billion VND, exceeding the assigned target.
