Customs overcome system errors, ensure smooth import-export activities

Lục Giang |

The Customs Department said that the eCustomsV5 system has been operating stably, requiring businesses to send customs documents directly via this system.

According to information from the Customs Department, on May 6, 2025, the Customs Department issued Official Letter No. 3946/CHQ-GSQL guiding the handling of errors in the system of not accepting certificates, and at the same time requested customs declarants to temporarily submit HYS professional certificates on the VNACCS/VCIS system.

From 6:00 p.m. on May 6, 2025, the document receipt function on the eCustomsV5 system has been restored and operated normally. The Customs Department requests that regional Customs Branches urgently notify the business community to properly implement the electronic declaration process, ensuring smooth import-export operations.

The Customs Department also requires businesses to submit documents in accordance with the new regulations on this system, instead of submitting additional documents by manual or other temporary methods.

During the implementation process, if technical or operational problems arise, businesses can directly contact the Customs Department's support department via hotline 19009299 (press button 2) for timely guidance and support.

This move aims to standardize the process of processing electronic records, facilitate customs declaration activities, and at the same time enhance transparency and accuracy in inspection and supervision of goods.
