Only selling online does not allow customers to come to see the products
Shoes and fashion accessories of major brands are always popular with many consumers. However, the high price makes many people look to buy through e-commerce platforms to save costs. Taking advantage of this psychology, many shop owners sell "standard 1:1" products but are actually fake goods with poor quality.
Posing as a customer, the reporter contacted an account selling Nike branded shoes on Shopee, the price was only 350,000 - 450,000 VND/pair, while genuine goods at the store cost from 3.5 - 4.5 million VND. When asked for the origin, the shop owner only replied "ordered goods, 1:1 standard". Suggesting that he had a special leg size, wanted to go to the shop to try it directly, the shop owner refused to provide the address to the reporter and did not come to see the goods directly.
Ms. Phan Anh Tuyet (23 years old, Phu Tho) said that she bought a brand bag "LV" on Shopee for nearly 1.2 million VND, which was promised to be hand-carried. "When received, the bag had a strong smell of plastic, only the lines were skewed, and the logo was poorly printed. I complained but the shop said it was due to different photos and then blocked my account" - Ms. Tuyet was upset.
Not just a few cases, just type keywords such as LV bag, Nike 1:1 shoes or Gucci super fake wire on Shopee, hundreds of results appear at cheap prices only 1/5 of real goods.
Try ordering a Nike brand product with the shop's "Nike AF1" advertisement for 280,000 VND, on the Shopee page with more than 2,000 sales and 4.9 stars. However, the product received by the reporter was unboxed, had no stamp, and even had the wrong brand name printed on the soles of the shoes.

Shop is evaluated by many as a poor quality seller
Many consumers believe that shops with thousands of sales and high ratings on e-commerce platforms (especially Shopee) are reliable. However, reality shows that many of them sell counterfeit products and counterfeit famous brands.
When searching for keywords such as show Zara 1:1, show Dior super fake or show Gucci SF, the reporter recorded a series of shops with 4.8 - 4.9 stars, with thousands of orders sold, but the price was only 1/5 of genuine goods.
Ms. Bui Thi Le (Tu Liem ward, Hanoi) said: "I see that the shop has more than 3,000 sales, nearly 5 stars, so I can rest assured to order a hand-carried dress. But when received, the dress has a black smell of dye, hot material and is prone to dryness. I texted a response but the shop ignored it, then my comment disappeared.
In fact, the rating system on the floor can be manipulated by virtual don or incentives in exchange for 5-star reviews. Therefore, the score should only be for reference, buyers need to carefully check detailed feedback and compare prices to avoid "losing money, getting sick".
During the peak period from mid-May to mid-June 2025, the Market Management force inspected 3,891 cases and handled 3,114 violations, with a total handling fee of more than 63 billion VND. Of which, 1,580 cases (accounting for 52%) were related to counterfeit goods and infringements of intellectual property rights such as fashion, branded accessories, with the fine exceeding 16 billion VND.
According to the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade), in the first half of 2025, e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop have removed more than 33,000 violating products and handled more than 11,000 booths with signs of copyright violations, counterfeit goods, and counterfeit goods.
