According to Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang, in the first 6 months of the year, the province has attracted 61 non-budgetary investment projects with a total registered investment capital of about 388.9 trillion VND.
The whole province has newly issued business registration certificates to 2,002 enterprises, an increase of 11.9% over the same period last year. The total registered capital reached VND 12,900 billion.
Thereby, contributing to raising the number of enterprises in Khanh Hoa to 14,894.
Khanh Hoa's total social development investment capital in the first 6 months of the year reached over 42,000 billion VND, an increase of 5.78% compared to the first 6 months of 2024.
State budget revenue reached VND15,390 billion, up 27.9% over the same period last year.
Khanh Hoa's total export turnover reached 1.266 billion USD, up 15.8% over the same period last year. The disbursement rate of public investment capital reached 41.32%, higher than the national average.
Provincial tourism continues to achieve positive growth. In the first 6 months of the year, the whole province welcomed 8.5 million visitors. Of which, there were 2.7 million international visitors, an increase of 15.5% over the first 6 months of 2024. Total tourism revenue reached VND34,001 billion, up 20.2% over the same period last year.
Social security work continues to be guaranteed, the population participating in health insurance is 95.8%, the total number of employed workers is estimated at 14,100 people.
In the last 6 months of the year, the industrial and construction sector is forecast to grow as expected, thanks to projects starting to be implemented from the end of the second quarter of 2025.
In July 2025, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee plans to organize a conference to meet with businesses in 2025. With the theme "Khanh Hoa - Value convergence, Sustainable investment", the conference has meetings, contacts, and direct dialogues between provincial leaders and strategic investors, FDI enterprises, representatives of associations, domestic and foreign enterprises.
This is an opportunity for Khanh Hoa province to inform about the potential, investment opportunities, specific mechanisms, policies, along with some development orientations, key issues, and strategic breakthroughs of the province.
It is expected that about 350 delegates including leaders of the Government, leaders of central ministries, departments, branches, large enterprises, associations, business associations, experts, scientists, etc. will attend.
