ThaiBev Group of Thailand's richest billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi poured in an additional 3.6 million USD through Sabeco to hold an indirect controlling stake in the Saigon - Lam Dong Beer Factory joint venture.

Specifically, ThaiBev, through Sabeco, increased its capital from VND 100 billion to VND 200 billion (about USD 8.6 million) to expand its operating capacity.

After the investment, Sabeco contributed an additional VND 85.8 billion (equivalent to USD 3.6 million) to increase its ownership ratio at Saigon - Lam Dong Beer Joint Stock Company to approximately 52.9%.
