Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), Power Project Management Board 3 (EVNPMB3) and the consortium of winning contractors held a signing ceremony for the XL04-TAMR Package Contract: Construction and installation of the Tri An Hydropower Plant Expansion - Tri An Expansion Project, Dong Nai Province.
Tri An Expansion Area Trade Union Project, Dong Nai Province (Project) was approved by the Prime Minister on the National Power Development Plan for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
The project is invested by EVN and directly managed by the Power Project Management Board 3 (EVNPMB3), with a total investment of VND 3,965 billion, an installed capacity of 200 MW (including 2 units x 100 MW).
The project capital includes capital of the investor to arrange about 30% and commercial loans about 70% from KFW and BIDV. Estimated work progress: Generate the unit No. 01 in the third quarter of 2027, generate the unit No. 2 in the fourth quarter of/2027 and complete the entire project in the fourth quarter of 2027.
The XL04-TAMR package is the main package of the Project with the main scope of work including: Inlet, Water Supply, Pressure pipes, Hydropower Plant; Discharge channel, Plant connection with existing power system, Construction items for construction...
To promote the internal strength of domestic enterprises, this package is organized to select contractors in the form of open domestic bidding via the network.
The contractor who meets the capacity and experience to be selected to win the bid is the XL04-TAMR Joint Venture with a contract price of VND 1,451 billion, the contract implementation period is 960 days, of which the progress of Power generation of generators No. 1 is on September 30, 2027, Power generation of generators No. 2 and completion of the entire project is December 31, 2027.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, the leader of Vietnam Electricity Group said that this is one of EVN's key projects to be implemented in 2025. During the investment preparation and project implementation, EVN has received the attention and close direction of the Government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance.
Along with that is the support and close coordination of the Provincial People's Committee and departments, branches and sectors of Dong Nai province to develop a construction organization plan, select appropriate contractors, ensure requirements on safety, progress and quality of the project.
Vietnam Electricity Group assigned the Power Power Project Management Board 3 and the XL04-TAMR Joint Venture to organize project management, organize construction to ensure compliance with requirements on quality, safety and environmental assurance, focus resources and equipment to speed up progress, strive to complete the project according to the set plan.
The signing ceremony of the contract of construction and construction package for construction and construction works is an important premise for the Project Management Board and the contractor's joint venture to implement the preparation of premises, organize the implementation of related items of the project, strive to ensure the goal of the project commencement progress on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day 2.9.
