Completing infrastructure to welcome investment waves
Started in October 2024, the Quang Chu Industrial Cluster (CCN) project has a total investment of nearly 500 billion VND, invested by Osen Fuji Bac Kan Joint Stock Company.
This is one of the key projects of the province, expected to create momentum for industrial development, contributing to promoting the local economy.
The project is deployed on an area of over 74 hectares in Dong Luong village, Quang Chu commune (Cho Moi, Bac Kan), located in a prime location, conveniently adjacent to the Cho Moi - Thai Nguyen Expressway to connect with neighboring economic centers, attracting secondary investors in the fields of agricultural and forestry processing, construction materials production, electronic components...

According to the reporter's records in mid-March 2025, at the construction site, workers, machinery and mechanical equipment are working continuously.
The work of leveling and compacting the land was urgently deployed, creating a flat surface for functional subdivisions.
Along with that, the construction unit also conducted underground water exploration and rock drilling in the area where it was expected to build a centralized wastewater treatment system, ensuring synchronous infrastructure from the beginning.
On March 15, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Tran Quang Thach - Quang Chu Industrial Park Project Management Board - said that the project has completed the construction of the first phase, ready to welcome secondary investors. It is expected that the entire project infrastructure will be completed in 2025, opening up opportunities to attract more businesses.
Not only aiming at industrial development, Quang Chu Industrial Park is also expected to contribute significantly to the local budget revenue.
According to calculations, when put into operation, the industrial park can create jobs for about 10,000 workers, and contribute 500 - 700 billion VND per year to the budget of Bac Kan province.
Job opportunities for thousands of local workers
For many years, Mr. Hoang Van Phuc, a resident of Quang Chu commune (Cho Moi, Bac Kan), has been used to the scene of young people in the area having to leave their hometown to find a job. Some go to work as workers in industrial parks downstream, some go to the South to work for hire, and are away from home all year round.
Therefore, when hearing the news of the Quang Chu Industrial Park being implemented, local people were very excited, hoping that the project would be completed soon to have more job opportunities.
"When there are companies and factories, people can also open more shops, services, rent vehicles to transport goods... From there, not only create direct jobs but also help many other workers have more stable sources of income" - Mr. Phuc added.

Sharing the same wishes, Ms. Nguyen Thi Luyen (Cho Moi, Bac Kan) shared that in rural areas, women are often attached to their families, few of them work far away because they are busy with children.
"For a long time, women have mainly worked in the fields, no one hired them to do anything, life was not very prosperous. If the industrial park is completed, many people can work as workers right next to their homes, having a stable income and being able to take care of their families, said Ms. Luyen.
Not only Ms. Luyen, many households in the area also look forward to the change when the industrial park comes into operation.
Not only creating direct jobs for workers, the development of the industrial park also attracts other service sectors such as transportation, food and beverage, accommodation, machinery repair, etc. Thanks to that, not only workers but many others have the opportunity to improve their income.
For a locality with many difficulties like Bac Kan, having a large-scale industrial park will help solve the problem of employment, reducing pressure on labor migration. At the same time, it will create stable income for people and contribute to sustainable economic development.
