The quintessence of Lam Dong plateau
Lam Dong province has a temperate, cool climate all year round, suitable for growing many high-quality agricultural products, especially outstanding with OCOP standard products.
With favorable climate and soil conditions, Lam Dong province has focused on exploiting and developing products such as Arabica coffee, Da Lat strawberries, Bao Loc tea...
These products not only have unique flavors and meet safety standards, but also increasingly affirm their position in domestic and international markets.
The most notable highlight is Bao Loc Oolong Tea. This is one of the typical OCOP products, produced in the famous land of B'Lao.
With a special production process and careful care, Bao Loc Oolong tea has a gentle flavor, sweet aftertaste, suitable for the taste of many countries such as Japan, Taiwan (China) and Korea.
With Bao Loc Oolong tea achieving 4-star OCOP standards, this product is one of the prides of Lam Dong province.
Dalat wine is also another product that meets 4-star OCOP standards and has gradually built a position in the hearts of international consumers.
According to statistics from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Lam Dong province, up to now, the area has 407 OCOP products. Of which, 2 products have achieved 5 stars, 7 products are waiting for the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to approve 5 stars.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, a Lan Huong Van Huong tea business owner in Loc Son ward, Bao Loc city, is always proud of her family's traditional profession.
According to Ms. Hue, her family's secret to making tea is passed down from father to son, quietly flowing like an underground stream that has persisted over the years.
Thanks to the secret of traditional flower scenting, we have created cups of rich, sweet green tea with the natural aroma of flowers such as wolfberry, jasmine, and lotus.
Ms. Hue’s family products are aimed at tea lovers, those who appreciate the delicate flavor. Over the years, she has remained faithful to the traditional method of drying tea using bamboo, keeping the tea crispy and fragrant.
According to her, only when dried with bamboo, under a simmering charcoal fire at the right temperature, can tea reach its most elegant and seductive flavor.
“Currently, my Lan Huong tea product has been recognized as a 3-star OCOP. In the near future, I plan to expand the scale, upgrade the product, and bring high-quality tea to more consumers,” Ms. Hue shared.
