Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hoang Long emphasized that energy saving is an urgent requirement in the context of increased consumption demand and increasing pressure to reduce emissions. He said that Resolution 70-NQ/TW and the Law amending energy-saving and efficient use in 2025 have created an important legal corridor to promote energy-saving initiatives in the whole society.
The "2025 Power Savings Translator" contest, launched in April, attracted 130 entries, reflecting the positive response of localities and communities. The winning works are highly appreciated for their content, form and message, contributing to spreading awareness of saving electricity to each organization and household.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Long suggested that units continue to maintain the power saving movement and expand communication, training, and technical support activities. The Ministry of Industry and Trade will closely coordinate with localities, businesses and Vietnam Electricity Group to encourage innovative initiatives, aiming to build a culture of energy-saving and efficient use.
When every citizen becomes an energy-saving propagandist, we will make an important contribution to ensuring energy security and green development of the country, the Deputy Minister emphasized.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes for outstanding works and sent thanks to the units accompanying the program.
