Encourage the community to 'show off' a healthy lifestyle
In phase II, the ‘Clean - Stylish - Green Living’ program focuses on the theme of ‘Showing Off’ Health to encourage the building of a healthy lifestyle in the community. A series of health activities will be implemented by Manulife, including: The ‘Show Off’ Health Challenge - encouraging people to ‘show off’ their ‘Clean - Stylish - Green’ lifestyle: healthy, balanced and sustainable in terms of physical, mental and financial health; a series of vosdcasts in collaboration with many experts on healthy living topics; building an online community ‘Clean - Stylish - Green’ to connect and share healthy living tips…
“The main goal of the ‘Clean - Smart - Green Living’ program is to raise public awareness of health, help people live a quality life and reduce health and financial burdens,” said Tina Nguyen, CEO of Manulife Vietnam. “To further that goal, we want to spread positive living actions to build a healthy community. If we live healthy, health problems and medical costs will be significantly reduced. In addition, we will also expand the scale of community health check-up days to bring more opportunities for free medical examinations to people. As medical costs are on the rise, early detection of health problems is essential for them.”
10,000 free medical examinations for people
After 2,000 free medical examinations in phase I, in phase II of the community program 'Clean - Smart - Green Living', Manulife Vietnam will provide 10,000 free health examinations for soldiers, demobilized soldiers, students, youth unions and ordinary workers in the provinces and cities including: Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Da Nang, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Here, the team of doctors from the Vietnam Young Physicians Association will directly conduct general health examinations, including examination of common diseases and free HP screening for people, and will also advise on nutrition, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and uric acid testing for gout patients.
