More than 170 passengers on China Southern Airlines flight CZ8155 landed at Da Nang airport on the evening of October 2 at the welcoming of the city leaders. This event officially connects the direct flight from Shenzhen (China) to Da Nang after many years of interruption.
Also in October 2025, Vietjet airline launched a route connecting the capital Kuala Lumpur with the coastal city of Da Nang, the third route connecting Malaysia - Vietnam.
In the summer of 2026, Da Nang City will welcome more charter flights from the Russian Federation and countries in the Community of Independent States (CIS).
Da Nang City will also promote promotional activities, build tourism products suitable to the needs and preferences of tourists; at the same time, improve the quality of services and experiences, towards sustainable development and maintaining its position as a leading destination in the Central region of Vietnam.

At the recent Hotel Industry Strategy Conference held in Da Nang, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Tham - Director of the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center presented a plan to promote tourism and develop new routes for 2026.
According to Ms. Tham, aviation continues to be the main means of transporting passengers to Da Nang - a city currently recording about 40,000 flights/year, an increase of 20% compared to 2024.
