Major changes in tax management
On the morning of June 5, 2025, the Tax Department held a conference "Supporting, guiding, and answering difficulties of business households in using electronic invoices generated from cash registers". The conference was attended by leaders of departments and units under the Tax Department, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Tax Consulting Association Nguyen Thi Cuc, representatives of organizations providing invoice solutions and more than 350 points across the country connecting with business households.
Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Director of Mai Son Tax Department affirmed: "Deploying electronic invoices from the cash register is a basic step in the process of modernizing tax administration, and an important preparation for the removal of securities taxes from 2026 in accordance with the orientation in Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW". The mechanism of self -declaration and self -payment instead of the contracting method will contribute to the transparent, fair business environment, combat tax losses and close to the real revenue of business households.
In the spirit of praying, listening and accompanying the taxpayer, the Tax Department's leader said that the tax industry has had a series of proposals and petitions to the Ministry of Finance, the Government and the National Assembly in order to issue solutions to exemption, reduction, tax extension, fees and land rent from 2019 to support the private sector, of which millions of small business households across the country.
Business households receive detailed instructions and on-site support
At the conference, representatives of the Tax Affairs Committee focused on explaining key points in the new regulation such as identifying the correct subjects of application according to Decree 70/2023/ND-CP, instructions on electronic invoice registration via eTax Mobile, the process of making invoices when customers do not provide complete information, and accounting regimes when switching to tax declaration according to actual revenue.
Also here, many business households reflect concerns about the initial investment costs, the complexity of software operation, as well as cases that may be sanctioned for not promptly adapting to new regulations. In response, the representative of the tax authority affirmed that it would work closely with software providers to send officials to directly support at the grassroots level, including outside office hours. At the same time, in June 2025 - identified as a "peak month" - the tax system will organize more dialogue and answers at the grassroots level, to promptly remove problems for business households.
Chairwoman of the Vietnam Tax Consulting Association Nguyen Thi Cuc highly appreciated the organization of the conference in the direction of directly approaching taxpayers. According to her, it is the openness of dialogue and the absorption of opinions from practice that helps tax policies come into life, while creating trust between management agencies and the business community.
Establishing a tax compliance platform in the digital age
According to the leader of the Tax Department, the implementation of electronic invoices is not only a technical requirement, but also part of the long -term strategy of the tax industry towards building a modern administration, taking a taxpayer as a center. In the context that the whole industry is rearranging the organizational structure, streamlined and professional, ensuring the maintenance of channels close to close and dedicated for business households is a challenge but also a requirement that cannot be delayed.
Deputy Director Mai Son expressed his expectation, with the synchronization of the whole industry, the coordination of solution providers and active accompanying from the business community, the implementation of electronic invoices from the cash register will be highly effective. Not only contributing to the completion of the budget collection task, but more importantly, creating the motivation for development for the private economic sector, promoting culture to comply with self -awareness and transparency in the whole society.
