On September 25, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held a regular meeting for September 2024 chaired by Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
According to the report at the meeting, the expected GRDP growth rate in Nghe An province in the first 9 months is about 7.5-8%; in the third quarter alone, it is estimated to reach about 8.5%.
Of which, the agricultural sector is estimated to increase by 4-4.2%, the industrial - construction sector is estimated to increase by 12.5-13.5%, the service sector is estimated to increase by 5.8-6.2%, and product tax minus product subsidies is estimated to increase by 6.7-7.2%.
Total retail sales of goods and total export turnover of goods both increased by over 20%. The number of tourists reached 8.43 million, up 15% over the same period, with estimated revenue reaching VND10,217 billion.
State budget revenue in the area in the first 9 months is estimated at 16,671 billion VND, reaching 104.8% of the estimate, equal to 143.2% of the same period in 2023. Budget expenditure is estimated at 24,188 billion VND, reaching 66.9% of the estimate.
As of September 23, the province has granted new licenses to 58 projects with a total registered investment capital of more than VND 18,739 billion; adjusted the total investment capital of 30 projects with a total increase of more than VND 16,802 billion. The total newly granted and adjusted capital is more than VND 35,541 billion, equal to 85.02% of the same period in 2023.
The whole province has 1,533 newly established enterprises, an increase of 5.8% over the same period in 2023 with a total registered capital of VND 17,306 billion, an increase of 29.69%; 625 enterprises resumed operations, equal to 84.5% over the same period.
As of September 20, the total public investment plan has disbursed VND5,022 billion, reaching 54.14%; of which, the concentrated public investment capital managed by the province has disbursed more than VND2,322 billion, reaching 48.09%.
Administrative reform and digital transformation work has been focused on and achieved many remarkable results.
The administrative reform index and the satisfaction index of people and organizations with the services of state administrative agencies both increased.
