Tay Ninh connects investment in Japan, promotes sustainable development cooperation
On August 6, 2025, at Tokyo Dome Hotel (Japan), a delegation to promote investment in Tay Ninh province led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh held a workshop to connect and promote investment in Tokyo - Tay Ninh in 2025.
The event was organized by the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province in coordination with Saigon VRG Investment Joint Stock Company, attracting the participation of many Japanese agencies, organizations and enterprises interested in the investment environment in Vietnam.
Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh emphasized the effective cooperative relationship between Tay Ninh and Japanese enterprises over the years. Currently, Japan has 173 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects in Tay Ninh, with a total registered capital of over 1.2 billion USD, ranking 4th in terms of the number of projects and investment capital in the locality.

The provincial leaders said that Tay Ninh is continuing to improve the investment environment, promote transportation and logistics infrastructure, and orient the development of clean industry, urban areas and border trade.
Phuoc Dong Industrial Park stands out thanks to its modern infrastructure and large land fund
At the event, Mr. Lu Thanh Nha - General Director of Saigon VRG Investment Joint Stock Company - introduced an overview of Phuoc Dong Industrial Park, the largest industrial park in the province with an area of about 2,436 hectares. This industrial park has a convenient connection location with key traffic routes such as the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway, National Highway 22B and international border gates.
Technical infrastructure in Phuoc Dong is invested synchronously, with ready-built factory models and construction services according to requirements, meeting the diverse needs of investors. The industrial park aims to attract industries such as high technology, clean industry, electronic components, medical equipment and supporting industries. A representative of the infrastructure development unit said that they are actively expanding clean land funds to catch up with the wave of investment shift, including Japanese enterprises.
Japanese enterprises highly appreciate investment potential in Tay Ninh
During the discussion session, many Japanese enterprises directly discussed with leaders of Tay Ninh province on areas related to investment, construction, infrastructure, land and administrative procedures. Representatives of the provincial departments and branches provided detailed information, clearly answering the contents that investors are interested in, thereby contributing to enhancing understanding and building trust.

Japanese enterprises expressed interest in industrial infrastructure, inter-regional connectivity and investment incentives in Tay Ninh. Many businesses said they will send a direct survey team to Tay Ninh province to learn more carefully before making a cooperation decision in the coming time.
In addition to the workshop, the Tay Ninh delegation also plans to work with many agencies, organizations and enterprises in Tokyo to expand potential cooperation contents. This is an activity in a series of local investment promotion programs to strengthen connections with international partners, attract quality FDI capital, and serve sustainable socio-economic development.
