Ninh Thuan calls for investment to promote trade and tourism

    On November 15, in Ho Chi Minh City, the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province announced 55 major priority projects calling for investment.

    Mr. Tran Quoc Nam - Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee said that the locality is facing new development opportunities. The Government has a policy to deploy investment in a number of key national projects, promoting the increase of connectivity in the development of Ninh Thuan.

    In Ninh Thuan province, there are 3 established industrial parks (Thanh Hai, Du Long, Phuoc Nam) with a total area of ​​855 hectares and Ca Na industrial park with a scale of 827 hectares is submitting to the Prime Minister for approval of investment policy.

    Currently, the new industrial parks are 21% full and 6 industrial clusters, with land funds in industrial parks and clusters still quite large, with rental prices much lower than those of provinces in the region (about 30%) are favorable conditions for investors to access.

    "Ninh Thuan province wishes to promote cooperation activities and investment connections between Ho Chi Minh City and Ninh Thuan province. Introduce the potential, strengths, and investment environment of Ninh Thuan province, industrial parks and clusters to businesses and investors in Ho Chi Minh City. Thereby, strengthening the cooperative partnership between the two localities" - Mr. Tran Quoc Nam said.

    The Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee has approved a list of 55 priority projects calling for investment in Ninh Thuan province. Of these, 18 projects are in the fields of trade - services, tourism; 14 projects are in the fields of construction and real estate business; 9 projects are in the fields of energy, renewable energy; 9 projects are in the fields of processing and manufacturing industry; 5 projects are in the field of agriculture.

    On the Ho Chi Minh City side, Mr. Duong Ngoc Hai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee said that relevant departments and branches of the city will be assigned to perform a number of tasks.

    Continue to cooperate with Ninh Thuan province in promoting two-way trade development; support typical products and OCOP products of the province in the city's supermarket chains.

    Support, exchange experiences and organize training programs, improve professional skills in trade promotion, investment, advertising...
