On February 12, Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) informed that right after the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday, the General Director and the Standing Committee of the EVNSPC Trade Union issued Joint Directive No. 889/CTLT-EVNSPC-CD, launching a 90-day sprint emulation movement to "Complete the energization of 50 110kV power grid projects".
The emulation movement aims to focus all efforts on ensuring electricity supply for socio-economic development and people's lives in 21 southern provinces and cities; ensuring the completion of assigned tasks and production and business plans in 2025.
In particular, the key goal is to focus on completing all construction investment work in 2025, especially the 90-day sprint emulation effort to "Complete the energization of 50 110kV power grid projects before April 30, 2025", practically establishing achievements to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Southern Power Corporation "Building - Developing - Lighting up trust" and welcoming the Congress of the Party Committee of the Corporation for the term 2025 - 2030.
The joint directive clearly states that 50 110kV power grid projects must be completed before April 30, 2025; Strive to successfully carry out the tasks and plans for 2025, and fully complete the targets according to the Resolution of the Party Congress of the Corporation for the 2020-2025 term with a number of key targets such as: Commercial electricity from 101.85 - 104.2 billion kWh; Construction investment capital plan reaches 14,502 billion VND; Labor productivity according to commercial electricity output increases by 8% or more; Reduce average power outage duration (SAIDI) to less than 243 minutes/year; Power loss of 3.7%, ensuring effective operation of the power system; Ensure financial balance, preserve and develop state capital, etc.
To achieve the above objectives, EVNSPC focuses resources on investment and construction, identifying this as a key and core task to direct and operate resolutely. Each power project, especially key and urgent projects, needs to assign and arrange the most capable and dedicated staff to carry out. Difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process must be promptly resolved or reported to superiors for resolution in the spirit of "clear, specific, and within authority"; not allowing difficulties and obstacles to become bottlenecks, affecting the progress of project completion.
In particular, EVNSPC stops allowing officers and leaders to take leave to go abroad from now until April 30, 2025. In special cases, the Head of the Corporation and the heads of the units must report to and receive the approval of the Chairman/General Director. Units mobilize employees to temporarily suspend their leave to go abroad from now until April 30, 2025, except in urgent cases. In the first 4 months of the year, EVNSPC also minimizes the number and duration of in-person meetings; temporarily stops organizing conferences/seminars that are not really necessary to focus on operating production and business activities.
The General Director and the Standing Committee of the Trade Union of the Corporation called on all employees in EVNSPC to actively respond and participate with the spirit of initiative, solidarity, creativity and the highest responsibility in the 90-day sprint emulation movement to "Complete the energization of 50 110kV power grid projects before April 30, 2025".
