Quang Tri - Market management forces discovered a business establishment selling 80 smuggled and unknown iPhones of great value.

On December 2, Market Management Team No. 1, Quang Tri Market Management Department said that it had just conducted a surprise inspection of M.N.M business household owned by Mr. L.V.N in Dong Hoi ward.

At the time of inspection, the authorities discovered that the store was selling 80 used iPhones without invoices or documents.

Of which, 68 were of unknown origin and 12 were manufactured in China and were on the list of prohibited information technology. The total value of the violating exhibits was more than 835 million VND.

Market Management Team No. 1 has temporarily detained all phone numbers for handling according to regulations. The business household was determined to have violated 2 acts: trading in goods of unknown origin and trading in smuggled goods. The estimated fine for the two acts is over 135 million VND.

Market management forces said that the end of the year is the period when smuggling and trade fraud are complicated.

Market Management Team No. 1 is continuing to strengthen inspection, supervision, and strictly handle violations in the area.
