Facing the decisive moment, PV GAS General Director Pham Van Phong launched a call for determination, tightening the team, and joining hands for the common cause, for the sustainable development of PV GAS, continuing to maintain its position as a pioneer and leader in the gas industry in the national Green Energy Journey.
In the first half of 2024, PV GAS has successfully surpassed many management milestones in implementing production and business activities despite the existence of extremely difficult and challenging conditions.
The Corporation has achieved very comprehensive results, including very impressive growth targets compared to the same period in 2023: LPG business output completed 111% of the management plan, up 38%; total revenue of the Corporation completed 111% of the management plan, up 12%; pre-tax profit completed over 180% of the management plan, up 8%; budget payment completed 200% of the plan, up over 13% over the same period; disbursement value for construction investment completed 124% of the plan...
The above results were achieved thanks to the determination, perseverance and synchronous implementation of management solutions, business development, international market expansion, cost optimization, etc. by the Executive Board of the Corporation, along with the solidarity and consensus of all PV GAS employees. The Corporation acknowledges and highly appreciates the sense of responsibility of PV GAS employees and affirms its determination in leadership to successfully complete the management targets for 2024.
Right at the time of continuing the task for the last 6 months of 2024, Mr. Pham Van Phong emphasized: "Although the results of the first 6 months of 2024 are very positive, the tasks and goals of the management plan for the last 6 months of the year are still very heavy; ensuring the completion of the assigned plan in conditions with many unfavorable and fluctuating factors is extremely difficult".
Therefore, the General Director of PV GAS requested the Board of Directors, leaders of the Boards/Offices/Centres of the Corporation and its affiliated units, and representatives of PV GAS at member units to continue to focus on implementing production and business operations with the spirit of: "Focusing the highest on production and business activities and building/identifying driving forces to ensure the unit's growth in the last 6 months of 2024 and the following years".
Firstly, the leadership team is consistent in its direction and management to maintain the set management goals; focuses on overcoming existing problems and removing bottlenecks to promote the activities of the Corporation/unit; develops specific implementation plans for each target that needs to be implemented and implementation solutions to ensure the completion of management targets. Secondly, the PV GAS workforce is united, strives, and unanimously overcomes difficulties; promotes and strengthens the work of "managing changes, renewing old motivations, and adding new motivations" with specific solutions with the motto "telling the truth, doing the truth, and achieving real results" in words and actions.
The responsibility of leading and developing the competitive energy market of Petrovietnam/PVGAS assigned by the Party and the Government is posing heavy responsibilities that every PV GAS employee must be aware of and proud to shoulder.
Entering a new development stage with fierce competition and more severe new challenges, PV GAS's Board of Directors believes and expects each leader, manager, and employee in their position to be increasingly united, diligent, determined, resolute, synchronous, and effective in leadership, direction, operation, and labor, to best complete the management plan assigned by PVN in 2024 and the following period.
