The market is expected to be upgraded in October
At the 2025 Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) of SSI Securities Corporation (Code: SSI) held on the afternoon of September 25, in a dialogue with shareholders, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung - Chairman of the Board of Directors of SSI gave a forecast on the upgrading results of FTSE.
Mr. Hung said: "The results of whether or not to upgrade are like a report on market health. In my opinion, the market may receive the upgrading result in early October, with a probability of over 90%. However, the upgrade is not a miracle, but there are many goals to strive for, such as meeting MSCI's criteria".
Regarding participating in opening a digital exchange, Mr. Hung said that SSI cannot stand outside any new financial trend. He emphasized: SSI is a leading financial company. Therefore, SSI cannot fall behind in any new financial field, such as digital assets. However, everything you do is based on business aspects, meaning efficiency, safety, and capital preservation".
According to him, digital assets are a field that combines traditional finance and technology, receiving special attention from young people and receiving support from the Government. SSI will cooperate with partners, playing a leading role in legal entities participating in this field, with a minimum capital requirement of VND 10,000 billion. At the same time, the company also takes into account cybersecurity risks and will develop preventive measures.

Regarding the strengths of SSI in increasing market share, Mr. Hung emphasized three factors: Upgrading information technology, diversifying products and developing digital-sales segments. This year's brokerage market share is forecast to reach about 12%.
