This is an annual survey in the National Statistical Investigation Program issued under Decision No. 03/2023/QD-TTg dated February 15, 2023 of the Prime Minister.
According to the investigation plan, the 2025 enterprise survey will be conducted in 63 provinces and centrally run cities for enterprises with production and business activities in all sectors in the Vietnam Economic System (VSIC 2018) except for 3 sectors.
First, Sector O - the activities of the Communist Party, socio-political organizations, state management, national security and defense, and social security are mandatory. Second, Sector U - activities of international organizations and agencies. Third, Industry T - activities of hiring jobs in families, production of material products and self-consumed services of households.
The subjects of this investigation are production and business establishments operating within an economic sector at a location (economic sector unit by locality) of all national economic sectors.
Except for Industry O (operations of the Communist Party, socio-political organizations, state management, national security and defense, and compulsory social security), Industry U (operations of international organizations and agencies) and Industry T (operations of leasing work in families, production of material products and self-consumed services of households) in the Vietnamese economic sector system.
Regarding the investigation time, the two big cities, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, will conduct an investigation from 1.4.2025 to the end of July 31, 2025. For provinces and cities with a number of enterprises from 5,000 or more enterprises, the investigation will be investigated from 1.4.2025 to the end of June 30, 2025. The remaining provinces and cities conducted the investigation from 1.4.2025 to the end of May 31, 2025. Particularly for corporations, the Corporation will investigate from 1.6.2025 to the end of July 15, 2025.
The 2025 business investigation will use an indirect investigation method by collecting information online through the use of Webform electronic investigation forms.
Investigation units will provide webform information on the Enterprise Investigation Electronic Information Page of the Statistics Office through the business's name and code authentication system (password) when accessing the system to issue the investigation form.
The Statistics Office will use 5 types of survey forms ( only survey form No. 2 has 21 types of forms) to collect the following information:
- Identification information: Identification information of the investigation unit; production and business activities; type of enterprise; affiliated establishment of enterprise;
- Information on labor and income of employees: Number of employees; income of employees;
- Information on results and business production costs: Operating results, production and business costs; investment capital; product production output; energy consumption; specialized statistical indicators in the National Statistical Index System classified according to the Vietnam Economic Sector System and the Vietnam Products Industry System;
- Information on industrial production products of enterprises and branches under enterprises;
- Information on export and import and service activities of enterprises;
- Information on transportation costs, warehouse costs of imported goods;
- Information on agricultural, forestry and fishery production to meet the information requirements of the 2025 General Census of Rural and Agricultural Examination. This includes information on: Number of production units, number of workers; production scale, production capacity; application of Chinese science in production, application of the digital economy; situation of agricultural land use.
