On November 14, the Market Management Department of Ninh Binh province informed that Market Management Team No. 7 had just conducted a surprise inspection of a food business establishment in Binh Luong village, Cat Thanh commune, Ninh Binh province, owned by Ms. N.T.T.
At the time of inspection, the authorities discovered that the establishment was selling more than 700 smuggled food products, including: duck wings, duck Anchovies, duck feet, chicken feet, spicy toothpick, fried ham, spicy bamboo shoots, seasoned bamboo shoots...
According to the owner of the establishment, all of the above goods were bought floating on the market. The total value of the goods is estimated at more than 5 million VND.
Market Management Team No. 7 has issued a decision to administratively sanction the owner of the facility according to the provisions of law, with a total fine of 6 million VND; at the same time, forcing the destruction of all smuggled food, unknown origin, and not ensuring food safety according to regulations.
In addition, Market Management Team No. 7 has also propagated and instructed business owners to strictly comply with legal regulations on food trading, especially regulations on origin, conditions for food preservation, hygiene and safety, to ensure the health of consumers.
