In October 2024 alone, TNR Holdings Vietnam Real Estate Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (TNR Holdings) reached an agreement with bondholders to successfully extend 7 bond lots due for repayment this November.
Accordingly, the extended bond lots include: TNR.BOND.11.2019.08; TNR.BOND.11.2019.03; TNR.BOND.11.2019.05; TNR.BOND.11.2019.06; TNR.BOND.11.2019.09; TNR.BOND.11.2019.10; TNR.BOND.11.2019.07. All of these bond lots were issued by TNR holdings on October 3, 2019, with a term of 3 years, and a total issuance value of VND 340 billion.
After successful extension negotiations, these 7 bonds were approved by bondholders to be extended for a maximum of 2 years, maturing on November 13, 2026. The bond interest rate applied for the entire bond term extension period, from November 13, 2024 to November 13, 2026, is 10%/year.
According to the report on the situation of paying principal and interest of semi-annual bonds, TNR Holdings spent VND 520 billion in the first half of 2024 to pay interest on 95 bonds issued in 2019 and 2020.
Notably, in the period of 2019 - 2020, TNR Holdings issued nearly 300 bonds to the market and successfully mobilized tens of thousands of billions of VND. The terms of these bonds are all from 3 - 5 years. Many bonds issued during this period have matured, and many bonds have also been extended by businesses for payment, successfully extending their terms.
In 2021, TNR Holdings also issued 5 bonds, currently circulating on the market, including: TNRCH2128001, TNRCH2128002, TNRCH2128003, TNRCH2128004, TNRCH2128005. These bonds were all issued in the last quarter of 2021, with a term of 7 years and an interest rate of 10%/year. The total issuance value is 2,300 billion VND.
Since then, this real estate company has not issued new bonds. Meanwhile, the company's early bond repurchase activities from 2020 to the first half of 2023 have been regular and active. However, from the second half of 2023 to now, the market has not recorded any bond repurchase activities of this company. Instead, TNR Holdings has negotiated with bondholders to extend the debt repayment period and extend the bond debt.
