On October 8, a workshop on "Corporate social responsibility promotes sustainable development" took place in Binh Duong.

Attending the workshop were Mr. Mai Hung Dung - Permanent Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, along with many leaders of enterprises inside and outside Binh Duong province. The workshop was organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper.

At the workshop, delegates said that currently, the success of a business lies not only in business results but also in the commitment and implementation of corporate social responsibility.

Enterprises also expressed their views on corporate social responsibility, first of all, responsibility to the surrounding community, and most closely, responsibility to employees, building a working environment with stable income for employees.

Mr. Ly Duy Khiem - Director of Smart Operations Center of Becamex IDC Corporation, said that Becamex IDC Corporation has built 20 industrial parks in 14 provinces and cities across the country. The industrial parks are creating 1 million jobs for workers.
