Phuong Dong Medical Complex Company Limited (No. 9 Pho Vien, Co Nhue 2, Bac Tu Liem) was fined 8 million VND for not complying with the law on the 3-step food inspection regime.
Tan Khoa Service Trading Joint Stock Company (No. 16, Alley 28/29 Ong Ich Khiem, Dien Bien Ward, Ba Dinh District) was fined 16 million VND for not complying with the law on the 3-step food inspection regime; the drainage ditches in the store and kitchen areas were not covered.
Bibomart TM Joint Stock Company (120 Tran Duy Hung, Trung Hoa Ward, Cau Giay District) was fined 17.5 million VND because its goods had sub-labels that did not contain the required information on the product label according to the law on product labels.
Sube Vietnam Joint Stock Company (7th floor, Fafim B building, 19 Nguyen Trai street, Khuong Trung ward, Thanh Xuan district) was fined 35 million VND for not publishing on the Food Safety Update Data Information System or not submitting a self-declaration of the product to the competent state agency as prescribed.
10 private medical and pharmaceutical establishments were punished, including:
Truong Kim Chi Oriental Medicine and Herbal Medicine Retail Facility (No. 52 Lan Ong, Hang Bo Ward, Hoan Kiem District); Thanh Binh Oriental Medicine and Herbal Medicine Retail Facility (No. 71 Lan Ong, Hang Bo Ward, Hoan Kiem District); Nguyen Thu Thao Herbal Medicine Retail Facility (No. 36 Lan Ong, Hang Bo Ward, Hoan Kiem District).
The reason is that these three facilities all made the mistake of not opening books or not using computers to manage import, export, storage, tracking batch numbers, expiry dates, origins of drugs and other related information as required by law.
Two pharmaceutical businesses were fined VND 7.5 million: Ha Thang Pharmacy (No. 31, Lane 268, Group 22, Ngoc Thuy Ward, Long Bien District); Thuy Phuong Pharmacy (No. 6, Ky Vu Street, Group 2, Thuong Cat Ward, Bac Tu Liem District) for not submitting a request for periodic assessment of maintaining compliance with good retail drug practices as prescribed by law.
Four pharmaceutical companies were fined VND15 million for not keeping documents and records related to the batch of drugs within the required retention period as prescribed by law, including: Dong A Pharmaceutical Trading Company Limited (Lot A2 - CN3, Tu Liem Industrial Park, Minh Khai Ward, Bac Tu Liem District); Hanoi Pharmaceutical and Medical Construction Joint Stock Company (2nd floor, No. 27, Alley 77, Lane 211, Khuong Trung Street, Khuong Trung Ward, Thanh Xuan District);
Tung Linh Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (building B-TT8-4, Him Lam Van Phuc residential area, Van Phuc ward, Ha Dong district); Song Nhue Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (No. 103 Nguyen Viet Xuan, Quang Trung ward, Ha Dong district).
Phuong Hue Herbal Joint Stock Company (Yen Son village, Ba Vi commune, Ba Vi district) was fined 50 million VND for not submitting a request for periodic assessment of maintaining compliance with good drug distribution practices as prescribed by law.
