The VF8 model, which is being disguised under a guardrail, was discovered during a test run near the IDADA center in Spain. Although VinFast introduced this model at the Los Angeles Auto Show last year, the disguise of the car shows that the Vietnamese car company is still making some final refinements before launching the model in the European market.
VinFast VF8 is similar in size to the Tesla Model X model. The model uses a twin-turbocharged engine that produces 402 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque, combined with four-wheel drive.
VinFast has not announced information related to battery capacity but has confirmed that VinFast VF8 can travel 500km in one charge. In addition, VinFast also offers a single engine version with 201 horsepower and a smaller battery pack with an operating range of 459 km for this model.
After launching in Europe, VinFast will start selling the VF8 model in the United States before the end of this year.
