What can you say about your busy and active 2024?
- I am satisfied with my 2024, or rather, I am satisfied with the previous years. That was the time when I studied and composed a lot so that 2024 had many exciting activities on the surface. I am grateful that through the time of studying and developing, I was able to continue to release new products to the audience. I am happy with that.
Where did Ai Phuong's decision to join "Sister Who Makes Wave" come from? If she didn't join, would she regret it?
- I am a fan of the original version, so when I received the invitation from season 1, I was very happy. However, at that time, I was not physically or mentally ready, and moreover, I was in the process of studying and composing, so I had to miss the show.
Then, I joined because I felt this was the right playground for me, after studying, I wanted to challenge my skills, collaborate with other talented artists and meet more audiences. I am very happy to have joined this journey.
Since "Sister Who Makes Wave", Ai Phuong has been loved by many audiences and called "Warm Sister", what do you think about this comment?
- I would like to thank the audience very much for this loving name. I think love is the most precious gift I can have as an artist. I don't think much, just feel grateful.
But saying "Sister Who Makes Wave" also took away many things from Ai Phuong, including time, is this true?
- I think it's more appropriate to call it "invest" instead of "take away". I invest time, money, health, and creativity. When I invest, I also get back many things that are hard to buy with money, so I think it's fair.
The biggest challenge for me is probably my health, I lost 4kg compared to before the "Sister Who Makes Wave" journey. In return, I feel that because I have been with "Sister Who Makes Wave" - I have become better, more confident and I have made some lovely new friends.
In "Sister Who Makes Wave", the audience was surprised when Ai Phuong was not only a ballad and sad music singer but also took on many roles and had a new musical color. How did you discover yourself in the show?
- Maybe because I haven't participated in reality TV for a long time, everyone is a little surprised. Before, I also danced hard in some shows. Besides piano and vocal training which are mandatory, I still learn dancing, yoga, jogging, reading books, and practicing many other things for this show. The new things I get to do on the show are probably writing Xpart, reading Rap, dancing, dancing...
I discovered that I am loved and accepted more than I thought, it warms my heart!

To complete the recent performances, how did you practice during the months?
- Dedicating all our time and energy, not just me but the other sisters too, everyone was exhausted. The practice time made us physically tired, but after that, we continued to work, find ideas for the next act, and kept rotating like that.
Like Performance 3, I participated in writing Xpart for my team, participated in the vocal performance with My Linh, Toc Tien, Duong Hoang Yen, wrote an additional Rap melody, learned sign language, and learned dancing for more than 10 days.
There were days when I was so tired that I lost focus to the point that I couldn’t hear what people were saying, just words coming and going. As time went on, our sisters and I struggled more and more because of the accumulated fatigue over time. You guys were very strong and tried hard.
Does Ai Phuong still want to participate in other reality shows after "Sister Who Makes Wave" or give herself a break?
- After the program, I will take time off to take care of my health, spend time with family and friends, and release my own products. As for the program, it depends on fate, but if it is suitable, I am ready.
For Ai Phuong, in a game like "Sister Who Makes Wave", is winning or losing important?
- Actually, I've never won any competition before, I've never lost. So, my attitude in "Sister Who Makes Wave" is "it's good to have it, it's also good to not have it".
In 2025, what does Ai Phuong expect and what are her plans?
- In 2025, I will prepare to release music products that I have been nurturing for the past 2 years. I will also spend time for myself, my family and my current sports watch business. I do both music and wellness - health and sports. These are also the 2 main things I pursue, so my work will mainly revolve around these 2 things.
How do you want to develop yourself in the next few years?
- Each person has a mission, if realized early, will develop themselves sooner. I dare not call myself a healer, but I am happy because I can convey comfort and relief through music. Besides, taking care of physical and mental health, helping people is also what I love.
