Doing housework does not measure the value of a woman or affirm the position of a man in the family, but thoughtfulness and care will make children receive more love.
Ms. Trang currently has 2 girls aged 14-16, 1 boy is in kindergarten. However, right from when the children were young, she taught her children to help their parents, the younger one does small work, the older one does big work. Currently, all 3 children are quite proficient in housework, 2 older sisters come home from school and already know how to cook rice and boil vegetables to help their parents, the boy knows how to put things in and clean dishes...
Ms. Trang's way of teaching children housework will help children learn practical life skills, know how to share responsibilities with the family. When they complete the work, children will feel useful and have the ability to perform assigned work responsibilities, thereby becoming more confident in life.
“I teach my children to do housework not because parents need help, but because it is a way to help children grow up early, be independent and not too dependent on the family. With modern technology 4.0 life, seemingly simple things also bring many meanings and help children understand more about connection, love and appreciation for what they have,” Ms. Trang said.
