Ms. Nguyen Chung Thuy (Hanoi) said that because she is busy all day, when she returns home, she prioritizes cooking 1-2 savory dishes, 1 soup and adding a few eggplants or pickled vegetables, and the whole family has a quick meal but still ensures quality.
Ms. Thuy said that after office hours, she takes advantage of picking up her children from school and then stops by the market to buy some food. The whole family after work, each member helps with one hand, so the cooking work in the evening is very quick.
Usually in hot weather, Ms. Thuy tries to change the menu according to the day and season. Her family especially loves crab and Malabar spinach soup, tomato sauce tofu, braised pork with quail eggs, stir-fried vegetables and a bowl of pickled eggplant. She also reduces avoiding greasy fried dishes that make her body easily bloated or indigestion.
Besides, summer is also the time when Ms. Thuy focuses on supplementing enough vitamins with fresh fruits to help ensure the health of her family. These favorite dishes are enjoyed very excitedly by family members when enjoying them, adding energy as well as relieving fatigue after a day of work and study.
