This fall, Ms. Bui Dieu Linh (32 years old, Hanoi) and her husband visited a special country: Poland. This is where traditional wooden houses have inspired them to build their current house in Alsace (France).
Although it was her first visit to Poland, Ms. Linh had a familiar feeling. The autumn here is quite cold, some language disagreements still occur, but the experiences in the Central European country really make Vietnamese female tourists remember them forever.
The land of wooden houses
My husband worked in Poland for a while. Therefore, the Polish-style wooden houses strongly inspired him to decide to build such a wooden house in Alsace, France - where we currently live and work, Ms. Linh happily said.
Therefore, during this 8-day, 7-night vacation, the couple visited the ancient village of Koscielisko with hundred-year-old wooden houses, then continued to visit Zakopane town to see more modern wooden houses. Admiring the original wooden houses with her own eyes, Ms. Linh cherishes this trip even more.
For the Vietnamese female tourist, perhaps Zakopane ancient village has left the deepest impressions, with thousands of beautiful wooden houses, from churches, restaurants, cafes, or hot mineral water bathrooms, all made of wood. That scenery gave Ms. Linh a very cozy feeling when entering.
Zakopane ancient village, located at the foot of Tatra mountain range, near the border between Poland and Slovakia, is famous for its majestic natural landscape, unique wooden houses and folk culture.
Known as the "mountainous paradise", this place attracts tourists all year round with activities such as skiing, snowboarding in winter or immersing themselves in the beauty of walking trails and mountain and mountain drivers in the summer. However, when Ms. Linh and her husband walked around Zakopane village, it was raining, gloomy and quite cold.

Ms. Linh shared: Because my wife and I love climbing mountains, another place that I will never forget is the scenery of Morskie Oko Lake. The lake is surrounded by rolling mountains and green forests. The lake surface reflects the sky and sky, the water, like a painting by a famous artist. It rains quite a lot in the fall here, but luckily, the day we visited Morskie Oko Lake, we had warm sunshine.
Known as the most beautiful lake in Poland, Morskie Oko is located deep in Tatra National Park, possessing a peaceful and poetic beauty. Visitors can walk or rent a horse to get to the lake. The entire distance up to Morskie Oko, visitors will enjoy the fresh air with the scent of pine forests or see the lush vegetation that seems to be covering both sides of the trail.

A complete trip
Initially, Ms. Linh and her husband planned to stay in Krakow city for 3 days and 2 nights. However, because it rained every day, they decided to only drive from Zakopane to visit Krakow during the day and not rent a hotel to sleep over.
One day in Krakow, the couple visited the Wieliczka Salt mine near Krakow. This is one of the largest salt mines in Poland. This relic is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Salt mines were exploited from the 13th century to 1996 and became the largest source of salt in Poland for many years before becoming a tourist destination.

After that, the couple took the opportunity to stop by the market in the central square of Krakow (Rynek Głowny) to buy jewelry made from amber stones originating from the Baltic coastal area (Baltic amber), as well as walk around a place to enjoy the snacks here.
The female tourist said: "Our trip can be said to be complete, even though the weather is not pleasant, we are still very happy and cannot be considered disappointing. There were only a small difficulty in language because there were very few English speakers in our area. But, at some big restaurants, in the center, they still speak English.
Having a happy memory when Ms. Linh and her husband visited the families of a few friends in the area, she was quite surprised because they still kept the tradition of their children living with their parents in the same family, sometimes even with grandparents living together as in Vietnam.
Poland is a relatively new country for Vietnamese tourists compared to other European countries. Partly because some areas are mostly populated with Polish, communication is also an obstacle. However, if you have the opportunity, come to Poland once, it is worth experiencing, Ms. Linh expressed.
