On the morning of October 22, the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) held a training conference on office work, protecting state secrets and applying information technology in 2024.
Attending the conference were Mr. Lam Thanh Si - Chairman of An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, Vice Chairmen: Nguyen Huu Giang, Nguyen Nhat Tien, Lu Thi Kim Thuy and more than 100 full-time officials of the Provincial Federation of Labor; Chairman, Vice Chairmen, full-time union officials in charge of office work, in charge of emulation and reward work of the direct superior union at the grassroots level and grassroots union directly under the Provincial Federation of Labor.
In his opening speech, Mr. Lam Thanh Si emphasized: “The conference is an opportunity to equip knowledge and skills on emulation, rewards, office work, document archiving, protecting state secrets, applying information technology and reporting information for the Union staff to improve the quality of advice work, contributing to building a team of professional, courageous, intelligent, dedicated, responsible Union staff, who can well perform the assigned requirements and tasks”.
In that spirit, the conference focused on training contents that are close to work requirements and tasks, suitable to reality; promptly updated new regulations and instructions, and contents that need to be focused on implementation.
As planned, in 2 days (October 22-23), the conference listened to the reporter deploy the basic contents of the Law on Emulation and Commendation in 2022; Decree No. 98/2023/ND-CP dated December 31, 2023 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation; Commendation regulations of the Trade Union organization and instructions on organizing the activities of Emulation Clusters and Blocks of the Provincial Federation of Labor.
Some new points in the regulations on the genre, issuing authority, format and presentation techniques of documents of the Trade Union organization. Professional matters on archival documents, notes on archiving documents and materials within the scope of state secret protection.
At the same time, promote the application of information technology; promote digital transformation in Union activities and some skills in synthesizing reporting information; guide statistical forms, use software in synthesizing Union activity data.
The conference also spent time discussing and resolving difficulties and problems in the process of implementing emulation, rewards and office work in localities and units.
