In recent years, under the direct leadership of the Standing Committee of the Bac Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, together with the coordination and facilitation of leaders of agencies, units, and enterprises, female union members and workers in the province's industrial parks have overcome all difficulties, excelled in work, production, business, and excellently completed assigned tasks.
The emulation movement "Good at public work, good at home work" was launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 1989. The movement was launched as an opportunity for women to promote their potential, intelligence, good work, creative work, and rise up to affirm their role and position in the family and society.
At the Trade Union of Industrial Parks in Bac Giang province, the emulation movement "Good at public work" was launched in conjunction with the emulation movements "Good workers" and "Creative workers" to encourage union members and workers to actively study to improve their professional qualifications, skills and expertise to meet the requirements of integration and development.
“Doing housework” includes building a prosperous, equal, progressive, and happy family, raising healthy children, educating good children, developing the family economy, doing well in population work, family planning, preventing social evils, solidarity and compassion, and caring for everyone in the community. This movement has been widely implemented by trade unions at all levels, with many diverse models, suitable for industries and units.
In which the movement "Diligent parents, good children" is a typical movement at the Trade Unions in the industrial zones of Bac Giang province.
Every year, based on the program and plan of the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Trade Union of Industrial Zones of Bac Giang province has specified the contents and sent them to the grassroots unions. The grassroots unions are based on the practical situation at their units and deployed to union members and workers.
As a result, in the past 5 years (2018-2023), nearly 500,000 female union members have achieved the title "Good at public work, good at housework" and nearly 500 female union members have been awarded Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit for the topic "Good at public work, good at housework" by the Bac Giang Provincial Federation of Labor and the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union.
