On February 27, the Provincial Federation of Labor in coordination with the Propaganda and Women's Union (Vietnam General Confederation of Labor) organized a workshop to implement a program to train active parenting skills with the theme "Controlling emotions and actively communicating with children".
This is an activity within the framework of a skills education program, supporting workers in child care and education with the name " dau doi hanh trinh" implemented by the Center for Community Development Research and Training in coordination with the Propaganda - Women's Union. In the period of 2022-2023, the program has been implemented in Hanoi and Ha Nam province. In 2025, the program will be implemented in two provinces: Bac Giang, Thanh Hoa with a scale of free training for 1,000 people/15 businesses/province.
Within the framework of the workshop, 50 delegates who are provincial union officials and corporate union officials were shared by psychologists and research staff with useful information and knowledge about the comprehensive development process of children in the early stages of life and positive communication skills with children such as: Recognizing emotions in us; why we are easily angry with children; controlling parents' internal emotions; changing positive thinking in communication with children; what children need to grow up and succeed...
It is known that after the workshop, grassroots union officials in enterprises proactively re- guided workers on how to learn online (prioritizing enterprises with a large number of workers). After that, parents need to receive free psychological advice to solve difficult problems in raising children.
The program helps workers improve their parenting skills to change their behavior and behavior appropriately, contributing to comprehensive education for children, gradually improving the quality of the population.
