Building Vietnamese women of the new era

On October 16, the Bac Kan Provincial Federation of Labor in coordination with the Provincial Women's Union organized a conference on Building Vietnamese women in the new era.

Attending the conference were Mr. Ma Tu Dong Dien - Head of Mass Mobilization of Bac Kan province; Mr. Vi Hong Duong - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, leaders of the Provincial Women's Union, departments and branches, and more than 250 delegates who are Chairmen of Labor Federations of districts, cities, and women's union members at all levels.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Bac Kan Provincial Federation of Labor Vi Hong Duong highly appreciated the role of women in the current context. The whole Bac Kan province has nearly 85,000 women (aged 18 and over). Of these, there are 55,027 members of the Women's Union and 11,088 female union members.

"In recent times, the Trade Union and the Women's Union at all levels have always paid attention to women's work, improving the effectiveness of trade union and Women's Union activities. Focusing on innovating the content and methods of operation to suit female workers. This has contributed positively to the emulation movement of "Good at public work, good at housework", the movement of "Building Vietnamese women of the new era".

"The women have constantly strived to study and practice, contributing to the development of their agencies, their homeland and their country. Many female cadres have been awarded certificates of merit for their professional work as well as for their patriotic emulation movements," the Chairman of the Bac Kan Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized.

At this conference, Dr. Dinh Doan, a psychologist, discussed the topic of promoting gender equality, building family happiness, and building Vietnamese women in the new era; At the same time, he answered and advised on the opinions of union officials, female union members, and members about work, marriage, and family.

Delegates of female workers and officials of the Women's Union of Bac Kan province presented papers on the topic of promoting the role of women's work. The emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework", building Vietnamese women of the new era. Papers on the topic of solutions to build Vietnamese women with enough capacity and qualities to meet the requirements of the new era.

On this occasion, delegates were informed about health care; equipped with knowledge about early cancer screening and proactive solutions to prevent sexually transmitted diseases; and introduced the union member welfare program.
