On the afternoon of April 29, the Bac Lieu Provincial Federation of Labor held a launching ceremony for "Workers' Month - Month of action on occupational safety and hygiene" and the program "Thank you to workers" in 2025.
At the ceremony, Mr. Huynh Nguyen Truc Linh - Permanent Vice President of the Bac Lieu Provincial Federation of Labor - reviewed the historical significance of International Labor Day. In which, it emphasized that this is an event of profound political and social significance, demonstrating the special attention of the Party, State and Trade Union organizations to the working class and laborers.
Along with the whole country, Bac Lieu Trade Union since its establishment, construction and development have increasingly affirmed its position and role in taking care of and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; Building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises; At the same time, promoting the pioneering role and creative capacity of union members and employees in performing socio -economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security.
In the launch of the "Working Month of 2025", the Standing Committee of the Labor Federation of Bac Lieu Province has recorded and praised the Trade Union level, the CBVT has always made efforts and creativity in deploying and organizing activities of the working month really meaningful and has become the festival of union members and employees of the province in recent years. At the same time, in 2025, the Standing Committee of the provincial Labor Federation integrated the program "Thank you for the employee", this is also one of the series of activities in the "Worker Month - Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene" to recognize, gratitude, and thank workers in recent years for working and accompanying businesses in the process of labor, production and business.
On this occasion, the Bac Lieu Provincial Federation of Labor presented a symbolic board of support for "Union Shelter" to 11 union members with difficult housing circumstances with a total value of 550 million VND; presented 50 gifts to union members and workers with difficult circumstances, serious illnesses, and work-related accidents (each worth 1 million VND).
