Teams are divided into groups, competing in clusters, promising to bring many exciting and attractive matches.
The tournament was organized by the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation and opened on the afternoon of May 24th, at the football field of Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry (Viet Yen ward). Attending the ceremony were representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with representatives of businesses and a large number of union members and workers competing and cheering.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Labor Federation emphasized: In recent years, along with the strong development of the province, the team of workers has continuously grown in both quantity and quality, making important contributions to socio-economic growth. Besides production tasks, physical training and improving the spiritual life of workers are increasingly being concerned by all levels and sectors, especially businesses and trade unions.
The second Bac Ninh Provincial Workers' Men's and Women's Football Tournament is organized to create a healthy and useful playground, contributing to improving health, strengthening exchanges and solidarity between units and businesses. At the same time, this is also a practical activity to respond to Workers' Month 2026, celebrating important political events of the country and trade union organizations. Through the tournament, the Provincial Labor Federation continues to affirm its role in accompanying workers, caring for material and spiritual life, building a positive working environment, contributing to improving labor productivity and sustainable business development.
This year's tournament has the participation of 130 men's and women's teams (including 102 men's teams and 28 women's teams). After the qualifying round in 7 competition areas, the organizers will select 16 best teams to participate in the final round. At the end of the tournament (expected in July), in addition to the first, second, third, and fourth team prizes for teams with high achievements, the organizers will award sub-prizes including: Team with beautiful playing style; individual prizes: Best goalkeeper; player with the most goals scored; beauty queen; runner-up.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the two opening matches of the tournament took place sôi nổi, attracting a large number of fans to watch and cheer. That was the match between two men's football teams from Samsung Vina Co., Ltd. and SURTECKARIYA Vietnam Limited Liability Company.
In the women's event, Hosiden Vietnam Co., Ltd. team met Fukang Technology Co., Ltd. The first matches showed the thorough preparation of the teams, the professional quality was clearly improved compared to the previous season, so they received enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
