This is an important political event, marking a major turning point for the hospital trade union organization after merging administrative boundaries and implementing the two-level local government model.
Attending and directing the congress were comrade Thach Van Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation.
Participating were comrade Than Trong Hung - Party Committee Secretary, Director of Bac Ninh General Hospital No. 1 and 98 delegates, representing the will and aspirations of over 1,000 union members and workers in the hospital.
Over the past term, the Hospital Trade Union has been proactive and creative in achieving many impressive achievements: 95% of union members have completed well and excellently completed their tasks; 95% of female cadres and union members have achieved the title of "Good at public work, good at home work"; introduced to the Party to admit 57 outstanding union members.
Along with that, coordinate with the professional team to encourage cadres and union members to promote initiatives and improve techniques, with 13 initiatives at all levels and 85 provincial and grassroots scientific topics recognized.
In particular, the hospital union won first prize for the whole delegation at the "9th Hour" Playground Program organized by the Provincial Labor Federation.
Speaking at the congress, Comrade Thach Van Chung expressed his agreement, high consensus and joy at the results of the activities of the Hospital Trade Union in the past term (2023-2025).
At the same time, comrade Thach Van Chung emphasized 5 key tasks that the hospital union needs to focus on implementing in the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, hospital trade unions need to innovate their methods of operation: Proactively develop a full-term work program, promote the spirit of innovation and collective intelligence; continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, improve the quality of trade union cadres, and adapt to the new situation.
Hospital trade unions need to proactively participate in developing and supervising the implementation of regulations and rules directly related to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members.
Trade unions need to promote the learning movement, improve professional qualifications, political theory, and state management knowledge for cadres and union members.
In addition, it is necessary to promote digital transformation of healthcare: Proactively coordinate with professionals to promote digital transformation in healthcare management; deploy electronic medical records, synchronize health data between facilities; increase the application of artificial intelligence (AI), big data.
Finally, the hospital union needs to carry out emulation movements associated with medical ethics: Organize patriotic emulation movements well associated with professional implementation such as the movement "Good workers, creative workers"; constantly improve qualifications, promote the quality of " Medical salary as from model", respect and protect the lives and health of patients.
At the congress, Comrade Ngo Duc Trung - Member of the Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Work Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation - announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation on appointing the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Bac Ninh General Hospital No. 1, term I, 2025-2030 with 13 comrades. Comrade Hoang Truong Giang - Deputy Director of the Hospital is the Chairman of the Trade Union.
The Congress passed a Resolution with the motto of action "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development". With deep confidence, the Executive Committee and all union members of Bac Ninh General Hospital No. 1 are determined to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the Congress Resolution, contributing to building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization.
