Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL); Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Bac Ninh province attended and shared joy with union members and workers.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu acknowledged and highly appreciated the attention, leadership and direction of the province in caring for union members and workers; the activities of Bac Ninh Trade Union at all levels have many innovations, focusing on union members and workers, especially during Tet.
The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor hopes that union members and workers, especially those who are far from home, will continue to stick together and consider Bac Ninh as their second home; after Tet, they will soon return to their businesses to work with high productivity and good quality, contributing to the development of their homeland Bac Ninh.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Van Ha, President of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor, said that the program's Organizing Committee awarded nearly 4,000 gifts, 10,000 bus tickets, 15,000 shopping vouchers, 500 free oil change vouchers, nearly 400 lucky draw prizes and folk games for union members and workers. It is expected that more than 20,000 union members and workers will enjoy material benefits with a total cost of nearly 10 billion VND.
In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with units that signed the "Welfare of Trade Union Members" cooperation agreement, partner units organized 100 discount booths providing essential services for Tet and the living needs of workers at preferential prices from 10-70% of market prices; nearly 20 zero-dong booths, free booths providing essential items, free services...
The Organizing Committee thanks 17 units and businesses that sponsored the program, accompanied the Trade Union organization to take care of workers; and expresses gratitude to 30 businesses that have had many activities "For workers".
