The Trade Union of Luxshare - ICT Company Limited (Vietnam) has coordinated with the Youth Union of the People's Court of Region 2 (Bac Ninh province) to organize a program to propagate and educate the law for union members and workers through the form of a mock trial.
Attending the program were Mr. Vuong Dao - Deputy General Director of Luxshare - ICT Company Limited (Vietnam); Ms. Vu Thi Dung - Chairman of the Company's Trade Union, comrades in the Company's Trade Union Executive Committee, representatives of the coordinating units and more than 200 union members and workers working at the factory.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Vuong Dao - Deputy General Director of the Company highly appreciated this meaningful activity of the Trade Union organization. He emphasized that compliance with the law is a prerequisite for all workers. Through the program, the company's Board of Directors hopes that each employee will not only work well but also have to live and work according to the Constitution and the law, resolutely saying no to social evils, especially drugs, to jointly build a safe and civilized working environment.
The highlight of the propaganda session was the mock trial recreating the first instance trial of a criminal case for the crime of "Illegal possession, trading and use of drugs". With the script built on real situations, close to the reality of workers' lives, the trial attracted the attention of the entire hall.
This form of staging helps workers easily absorb the provisions of the law. Through the trial, from the procedures, questioning, and debate to the verdict, union members have better understood the strictness of the law, as well as the unpredictable consequences of drug addiction for themselves, their families, and society.
This is a practical activity of the Trade Union of Luxshare - ICT Company Limited (Vietnam) to diversify forms of propaganda and dissemination of legal education; thereby raising awareness and sense of law compliance for employees, contributing to ensuring security and order at enterprises and in industrial parks.
