In the third quarter of 2024, Binh Phuoc Trade Union organized many practical activities to take care of children of union members and employees: organizing "Union Meals", admitting 3,010 union members, establishing 35 grassroots unions, introducing 396 outstanding union members to the Party, visiting and giving gifts to nearly 25,000 union members, supporting the construction of 7 "Union Shelters", 5 Shelters of Love...
Implementing the targets assigned by the General Confederation of Labor in 2024, by September, Binh Phuoc Trade Union had exceeded 7/17 targets, achieved and estimated to achieve 9/17 targets.
The conference also gave opinions on the draft Action Program to implement Resolution No. 06/NQ-BCH dated August 27, 2024 of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on "Promoting the development of union members and establishing grassroots trade unions in non-state enterprises by 2028, with a vision to 2033"; Action Program to implement Resolution No. 07/NQ-BCH dated August 29, 2024 of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on "focusing resources on caring for the welfare of union members and workers in the new situation".
At the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thang - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Policy, Law and Labor Relations Department of the Provincial Federation of Labor was elected to the position of Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor with high trust.
Speaking at the conference, Chairwoman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Thi Huong Giang acknowledged the efforts of trade unions at all levels and individuals in the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor. At the same time, Ms. Huong Giang also emphasized that the fourth quarter of 2024 is the final stage for trade unions at all levels in the province to deploy and complete the targets and tasks of 2024, especially Conclusion 391-KL/TU dated June 25, 2022 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on trade union organization with caring for workers' lives in the period of 2021-2025, contributing to the successful implementation of the resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress; effectively organizing the Lunar New Year Care Plan 2025.
