On January 21, the Phong Dien District Labor Federation (LDF) announced that the unit had just organized the donation of 3 Trade Union Shelters to union members in difficult circumstances.
The three members who were given the shelters were Nguyen Tran Trieu Son (Tan Thoi Commune, Phong Dien District), Luu Tram Anh (Nhon Ai Commune, Phong Dien District), and Le Tran Hoang Anh (Nhon Ai Commune, Phong Dien District). These are all members who have difficulty with housing but cannot afford to repair it.
Each shelter is supported with 50 million VND by the Golden Heart Charity Fund Branch of Can Tho Trade Union.
Over the construction period, the shelters have been completed and put into use. The shelters are built in the style of spacious, clean level 4 houses, helping members and their families to celebrate Tet warmly and together.
At the ceremony, leaders of Can Tho City Labor Federation, Phong Dien District Labor Federation and local authorities shared the joy with the union members. At the same time, they presented gifts to congratulate all 3 on their new home.
On the day of returning to their new home, the union members could not hide their happiness and emotion at the attention and support from the locality, the unit's Trade Union, the District Labor Federation and the Can Tho City Labor Federation, helping the family have a spacious house, giving them more motivation to work with peace of mind and overcome difficulties in life.
On the same day, Phong Dien District Labor Federation also organized a gift giving program for union members and workers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
