The Trade Union Shelter Program demonstrates the practical concern and care of Trade Unions at all levels for Trade Union members in difficult circumstances in terms of housing, stable life, focusing on economic development, contributing to create trust and attachment of union members to the trade union organization.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - President of the Confederation of Labor of Can Tho City - hopes that the union family will preserve and use the house effectively, continue to renovate and repair it to make the house spacious. Moreover, union members and their families comply well with school and local regulations, build happy and exemplary families, and contribute more to their work.
Union member Dinh Minh Tri is currently Chairman of the Red Cross Association of Thoi Hung commune. Mr. Tri's family's circumstances were difficult, they had no land for production, and at the same time had two young children to educate. Mr. Tri's house is dilapidated and cannot be built or repaired.
Supported to build the Trade Union Shelter from the sponsor was 50 million VND, along with the amount of money the family had accumulated and borrowed, after 3 months of construction, Mr. Tri's new house was built spaciously. and cozy.

During the giving ceremony of the Trade Union Shelter, organizations and individuals congratulated and gave gifts to the union family. The house is built in the style of a level 4 house, 7.5m wide, 15m long, 110m2 area, ceramic tiled floor, walls, and corrugated iron roof.
From the beginning of the year until now, the Labor Federation of Co Do district has been supported by the Can Tho Trade Union's Golden Heart Charity Fund to build 4 Trade Union Shelters , with a total mobilization of 200 million VND.
