Handing over the savings book "Union and children continue on"

The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has presented savings books "Union and children continue to step forward" to help relatives of workers who unfortunately died due to the storm.

On December 27, information from the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation (LDLF) has just awarded 5 "Union and Children Continue Stepping" savings books, worth 10 million VND/book, to children of union members who died due to storm No. 3 (Yagi), according to Decision 2079/QD-TLD of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

The children receiving support include the children of union member Diep Thi Nhat (Brother VN Co., Ltd., Hai Duong), living in Bao Lac district, Cao Bang; union members Tong Ngoc Quy (Ca Thanh Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities) and Truong Thi Mai An (Tinh Tuc Town Kindergarten), who died due to landslides and flash floods in Ca Thanh commune, Nguyen Binh district, Cao Bang. The savings books were handed over to the legal guardians.

At the gift-giving ceremony, Mr. Tran Cong Huan - Vice President of Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation - shared the loss and encouraged the family and children to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

The program not only provides material support but also demonstrates the responsibility and care of the trade union organization towards union members' families in difficult times.
